Founded in 2004 as the choir for Teachers of Riga centre district by music mistress Dzintra Krastiņa and her student Edgars Vītols.
Today the full title of the choir is: mixed choir of the University of Latvia, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics „Aura”.

Education: Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music: master's degree in music, bachelor’s degree in music pedagogy and choir conducting

International Choir Competition "Grand Prix of Choral Music", Graz (Austria)
Gold Medal in category with obligatory composition, Mixed choir group;
Gold MEdal in category of Folklore, Mixed choir group;
Special Prize for expressive performance.
 

Year 2010
The 6th International Robert Schumann Choir Competition & Festival, Zwickau (Germany)
1st place and Gold Diploma in category with obligatory composition, Mixed choir group;
2nd place and Gold Diploma in category of sacred music programme, Mixed choir group;
best Conductor Prize to Edgars Vītols.

The 25th International Franz-Schubert Choir Competition & Festival, Vienna (Austria).
1st place and Gold Diploma in category without obligatory composition, Mixed choir group;
Gold Diploma in category of sacred music programme, Mixed choir group;
